CYBERSECURITY PROGRAM MANAGER, OAS/CICTE

Kerry-Ann Barrett is the Cybersecurity Program Manager within the Inter-American Committee Against Terrorism of the Organization of American States (OAS/CICTE).  In her capacity she leads the OAS/CICTE’s cybersecurity capacity building efforts to member states through the design, planning and execution of cybersecurity initiatives, including: development and implementation of National Cybersecurity Strategies and Policies ; provision of Technical Training to policy makers and technical public officers in OAS member states, establishment and strengthening of national cybersecurity incident response teams (nCSIRTs) and facilitation of cybersecurity awareness tools.

Additionally, she is a public speaker at various regional and international cyberspace fora with a focus on cyber related issues in Latin America and the Caribbean and promote strategic partnerships between the OAS and key private sector and international actors. Kerry-Ann is also an attorney-at-law and possess extensive public sector experience given her appointment within several government ministries in the Caribbean as legal advisor.
