The CyberPeace Institute is happy to announce that Andrew McCracken, Global Director at Wateraid International, has been elected new Chairman of the Executive Board of the CyberPeace Institute.

We want to express our gratitude to Alexander Niejelow for his dedication as chair to the Executive Board. Andrew succeeds Alexander in this role. Before being elected chairman, Andrew has been a valuable member of our Executive Board in the past. We congratulate him for taking on this new role and welcome him and his unique expertise to further our organisation’s mission of building digital resilience.

The staff, board and I are very grateful to Alexander for the time and energy he put into his role as chair and the dedication he has shown to the Institute. And I'm privileged to be able become the chair and support the team in their vital work.
