Kukiwise Campaign

CyberPeace Institute

Cook Islands

What do you know about online scams? Has that ever happened to you?

From winning amazing competitions you did not enter to receiving a package you have not ordered, if it seems just too good to be true it generally is.

With its Kukiwise campaign, the Cook Islands Financial Intelligence Unit shows you how there are different types of online scams. To protect yourself and your organisation it teaches you to stop, think again and be kukiwise! You can find the awareness videos both in Cook Islands Māori and English.

The Cook Islands Financial Intelligence Unit investigates suspicious transactions and engages with the public for reported online scams and fraudulent activities.
