Start a new career path now! With Cyber School.

Microsoft Switzerland and the CyberPeace Institute have teamed-up to create a unique offer and is launching the first Cyber School, a free 8-week virtual course for refugees, students, and job seekers returning from unemployment or a leave of absence. Women are encouraged to apply. This initiative is designed to help participants prepare to enter the cybersecurity workforce, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic career fields in today’s global economy.

Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic career fields in today’s global economy. In Europe alone, some estimate that there are more than 300,000 job openings in cyber. And now more than ever, people from all different backgrounds can bring their unique talents and skills to a career in cybersecurity. Whatever your particular sector or previous experience may be – the cyber job market is hot, and it needs you!

Through weekly sessions, Cyber School will cover the essential skills and knowledge in high demand on the job market in Switzerland. Students will have access to diverse learning materials, real-world case studies and opportunities for practical application on topics such as governance and risk management, network monitoring, supply chain security and incident response.

The course is completely free to participants and no prior technical training or experience is required. Individuals from all different professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. 

In the first year, students can enrol for Cyber School in either the Fall 2022 or Spring 2023. Upon completion of the course, students will receive an official badge. 

Learners seeking further skill development and guidance will have access to additional resources, courses, and coaching opportunities.
