The CyberPeace Institute is an independent and neutral non-governmental organization who works to enhance the stability of cyberspace by decreasing the frequency, impact, and scale of destructive cyberattacks. The Institute works in close collaboration with relevant partners to reduce the harms from cyberattacks on people’s lives worldwide and provide them assistance. By analyzing cyberattacks, the Institute exposes their societal impact, how international laws and norms are being violated, and advances responsible behavior to enforce cyberpeace.
Your Mission
Taking an inclusive approach by connecting resources and acting as a force multiplier is foundational to the Institute’s mandate. Partnerships and collaborations with diverse stakeholders, including donors, are essential to achieving our mission to be more directly impactful on improving human security, dignity and equity and to being more contextually effective.
We are looking for creative, proactive, and hands-on avid learners. We are an innovative team where ideas are always welcome.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Business Development and Strategy Team to curate stakeholder management and to scout new funding and partnership opportunities
- Provide input and support in:
- Assessing, qualifying and outreaching to donor prospects
- Keeping internal CRM and relevant databases updated
- Writing/adapting concept notes/proposals for stakeholder engagement and potential donors’ outreach
- Stewardship of existing donors
- Writing events’ session submissions
- Maintaining the regular updates of key strategic documents (e.g. work plan, monthly/quarterly reports)
- New stakeholders assessment and preparation of related initial outreach
- Background research and analysis to generate insights into key strategic topics
- Organizing meetings/events
- Clerical and administrative duties as needed
Your Experience, Skills and Attributes
Depending on the type of program you wish to join, the requirements are as follows:

We are looking for undergraduate and/or graduate students required to carry out an internship in relation to their course of study Your University or institution should be able to issue a tripartite internship agreement (to be signed by the Institute, the student and the University/school) | We are looking for fresh undergraduates and/or graduates who wish to gain their first practical experience after graduation, and to apply and develop their skills in their field of studies |
Common Requirements:
- Studies in business administration/economics, marketing, international law, international relations, international development, international human rights, international security studies, cybersecurity, or related field
- Fluency in English and French, spoken and written
- Knowledge of full MS Office Package
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, flexible, detailed and organized
- Commitment to work in NGOs – not for profit sector
